Sometimes he hears the sound of music, and he finds it all rather vulgar

In the spirit of philosophizing about media, here's a
cute little number dredged back up off the bottom. It's been buried in the mud for a while, but the piece rings true today, perhaps even more true than it did when it was broadcast originally.
Take it for all that, or, just use the audio in a remix. Sweet!
50 Ways

In some e-mail back and forth reconnecting with a long-time friend (hi Shelley Belly!) SVS told me that Paul Simon's '50 Ways To Leave Your Lover' (1974) reminder her of me. This is undoubtedly because we 'hung out' in the mid 70s, back when we were both aged in the single digits, and were known to sing random things from the LPs in both our houses.
So i had a listen, dusted off my own sense for schmatlz, and filed away my general sense of "Oh... you mean you're playing a Simon and Garfunkel tune?!" and came up with this.

I hope... eh YOU lie-ck!

Workspace Rocks (er... Technos?) !
Submitted by Christian Nally on Sat, 2006-09-02 01:01.
I've started working at Workspace.
It's a fabulous place to work. The view of the north shore is second to none and even better... there's the trainyard right in front of you, the perfect backdrop to be reminded of real live actual trade, the flow of goods, the hum of the city.
On the musical side (stick with me here it's related) I'd been working on a new mash-up where you play two songs overtop of one another. This one coincidentally seems to be very 'Workspace' in that it's based on Daft Punk's 'Technologic' (a song that works to stress you out if you're not in the productive zone) and the White Stripes with Seven Nation Army... the perfect antidote to an overly technological world. Here's a sneak preview of an alpha version... I hope to get around to a smoother one when I get back to Galiano.
